It's hard to classify Apt. E, aka Amit Apte. Is he Pop? Is he Rock? Is he R&B? Well, the answer is "all of the above". Mix in a pinch of Desi flavor and there you have it. Apt. E's catchy melodies and universal lyrics contribute to the hit quality of his songs. From a very young age, Apt. E has had a love affair with music. Singing and learning to play the piano at a young age, Apt. E developed and cultivated his music skills, later playing in high school garage bands while learning to play the guitar.
Thru college Apt. E really developed his songwriting and composition skills, but it wasn't until after schoool that he focused on music as a career. Writing and producing demos for local singers as well as touring the acoustic music scene in the Bay Area, Apt. E decided it was time to share his music with the world officially. After relocating to Los Angeles and hooking up with a talented group of local musicians, Apt. E released his debut CD "In Your Eyes". It is a collection of songs showcasing great pop songs that will satisfy even the most discriminating ear. After a successful tour, he decided to give production a try.
Assembling a team talented artists, Apt. E productions was born. Producing for independent record label Suvah Entertainment, this guy is taking over the industry in a big way!
