Inspiration
We pay homage and tribute with all the love to the ones who have died making a mark in the Indian music industry, Nothing but respect for the likes of Jagjit SIngh, Mohd Rafi, Kishore Da, Chamkila, Surjit Bindrakhia, Soni Pabla, Kulwinder Dhillon, Kaka, Manak and others. May God bless their soul.
The biggest inspiration for Musafir to write was and is "Sahir Ludhianvi"a.k.a Abdul Hayi, you may remember him from the song"Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Mein Khayal Aata Hai", the lyrics were written by him. Sahir, just like Musafir, who shares the same birth-date with the maestro, was a rebel throughout life. If you get a chance, read articles about him on Google. Also leaving a great mark in Shayari was "Shiv Kumar Btalvi", who was best friends with death itself. His passion for Life's end was enormous. Much Respect to these men of a different era. Along with the greats of the old age; Mohammad Rafi, Kishore Da, Jagjit Singh, Pankaj Udhas, Atif Aslam, Ghulam Ali, Kumal Gunjanwala, Himesh, AR Rahman, Kaliash Kher and all the ones that have made a mark.
Obviously no one can talk out the influence of Gazals and Shayari without talking about the GREATEST Shayar of all times "Mirza Ghalib". He created a revolution with his Gazals and Nazams. He set a code for many to live by. Ghalib changed the world thru the ink of his pen. Much respect to Mirza for doing what he did best.
Above all if it weren't for the support and encouragement from Family and Friends none of this would have been possible. God gives everything one can ask for and hope well for everyone. And without further due; A special thanks to all the haterz, cuz if it weren't for them than no one would be talking about us (even if it's just negative).
